So, we have considered appropriate to make the analysis of each translation of this passage, in order to draw some conclusions which help us to assess the quality of each version. En aquest article s'estudien les dificultats de traduir «La Maladeta», un passatge de Canigó, de Jacint Verdaguer. Creiem que aquest fragment és prou representatiu de la temàtica del poema èpic verdaguerià, ja que ha estat un dels més traduïts a totes les llengües i, a més, conté elements heroics i medievals del poema.
