A certain percentage was used as summary measure. Leaders and professionals as well as the patients classified as hypertensive degree II and III prevailed in the case material. After 60 minutes of applying the therapy it was verified that 93.0% of those affected had stabilized blood pressure and also, there was a significant improvement of the accompanying symptoms. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, longitudinal y prospectivo de 40 pacientes con hipertensión arterial descontrolada, atendidos en el cuerpo de guardia del Hospital General Docente Dr. "Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" de Santiago de Cuba, desde septiembre hasta diciembre del 2012, con vistas a evaluar la efectividad de la terapia floral en el tratamiento de dichos pacientes, para lo cual se empleó el remedio de rescate. Se utilizó como medida resumen el tanto porciento. En la casuística predominaron los dirigentes y profesionales, así como los pacientes clasificados como hipertensos grados II y III.
