The Web extra at http://youtu.be/ht0e6m6lpz0 is a video simulation of a visualization of the highest energy neutrino ever detected. The 2-PeV neutrino event was detected on Tuesday, 4 December 2012, by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, a particle-detector telescope buried 1,500 meters deep in the ice at the South Pole. The neutrino was dubbed "Big Bird."
