| Sumario: | The present work it is a diagnosis of the quality of nursing services provided to cancer patients hospitalized at Health System, in a large general hospital in the northern region of Paraná. Presents the age profile and education for professionals involved in the care of cancer patients. Highlights the need for specific training for nursing professionals. Points out areas where, in this case, there is a greater need for training. It analyzes the results obtained through field research before and after the training sessions. O presente trabalho trata-se de um diagnóstico da qualidade dos serviços de enfermagem prestados aos pacientes oncológicos internados pelo Sistema Único de Saúde, em um hospital geral de grande porte da região norte do Paraná. Apresenta o perfil etário e de instrução dos profissionais envolvidos no atendimento ao paciente oncológico. Evidencia a necessidade de treinamentos específicos aos profissionais da enfermagem. Aponta as áreas onde, no caso concreto, há maior necessidade de treinamento. Analisa os resultados obtidos por meio de pesquisa de campo antes e após a realização de treinamentos. |
