| Sumario: | An adaptation is presented of the book "National Security and Double Government," by this author and from the article "National Security and Double Government," by this author within the "Harvard National Security Journal," which references U.S. history from 1945 through the early 21st century to discuss the U.S. government's alleged breaching of the rule of law. The relationship between the rule of law established by the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. government's putative committing of state crimes, including in regard to U.S. President Harry S. Truman's national security policy, is discussed.
