It has since become a focus of international attention which the United Nations Organization has been actively agitating for its sustainability through various conventions, summits, conferences and protocols. Every government concerned with sustainable clean and safe environment must take the first step of formulating a policy framework for the protection of the environment. Such policy framework must identify the subject matter which the laws seek to protect. Such subject matter include air, land and both surface and underground water protection. |
