Se sostiene que eltratamiento de la cuestión indígena en Chile ha estado mayormente dominado por una perspectiva liberal no pluralista y por un indigenismoasimilacionista e integracionista. Para ello se revisan, de modo general, las grandes propuestas emitidas por el Informe de la Comisión y, sobre todo, la opinión de minoría expuesta por uno de los comisionados, opinión que, a pesar de su carácter minoritario en dicho informe, parece ser hegemónica encuanto al accionar del Estado chileno.
From the review of Comisión de Verdad Histórica y Nuevo Trato report, published in 2003, this article seeks to reflect on one of the theoretical and ideological elements that has prevented to install in the State a wide perspective of intercultural recognition. It is argued that the treatment of the indigenous question in Chile has been dominated mainly by a non-pluralistic liberal perspective and by an assimilationist and integrationist indigenism.To this end, are reviewed in general, the major propposals issued by the commission’s report and, especially, the minority opinion expressed by one of the commissioners, an opinion that, despite its minority nature in said report, seems to be hegemonic regarding the action s of the Chilean State. |
