Summary:This text investigates the problem of social housing in Bogotá within the framework of partial urban renewal plans in downtown Bogota, these as from of densification, revival and redevelopment in areas that have some type of loss either functional, or by urban obsolescence, these in interaction with the proposed urban norms for the city, as well as the disposition of urban uses and activities, as opposed to the tensions that are analyzed for their concretion due to the form of production and with This assesses the level of scope that this form of urban geographic space production has. This text investigates the problem of social housing in Bogotá within the framework of partial urban renewal plans in downtown Bogotá. For such consideration, an analysis is proposed from the tensions and conflicts that occur in the development of the “Estación Central” and “Triángulo de Fenicia” projects from a critical perspective, which examines the spatial production of the area from a multivariate approach that allows observing the shape uneven in the construction of geographic space, as well as observing the scope and limitations of urban interventions in the sector.
