| Summary: | The research comprehends the municipalities of Nova Santa Bárbara, São Jerônimo da Serra, and Sapopema, located in the mesoregion of the Northern Pioneer of Paraná, whose socioeconomic situation is characterized by low socioeconomic dynamism during the current century. The tourism potential of these municipalities represents some of the possibilities of developing local tourism. In this case, the integration of local public administrations is necessary to implement a possible integrated route. To discuss the subject, analyze the tourism potential and its relationship with local development in an endogenous perspective and with the purpose of strengthening local and regional actions. In the sequence the tourism potential existing in Nova Santa Bárbara, São Jerônimo da Serra and Sapopema is presented. Then it is explained in general about the potential landscape features for the tourist practice and how these could become tourist resources. In the analyzed landscape we highlight the waterfalls, the caves, the rugged topography, the rural localities, the indigenous communities, etc. Thus, the objective is to identify the tourism potential of the municipalities approached and make some notes on how it can become prominent tourist resource for an integrated route.
