| description | The following article intends to visualize and reflect on the notion of space in Peter Sloterdijk's work. In the Sloterdijk's work a post-metaphysical revaluation of space is woven, which implying a series of reconsiderations and changes of route in the contemporary debate of philosophy. Although, the consequences of the debate are inevitably carried over to those dichotomous traditions of thought that study space following the extrapolated metaphysical effort between subject and object. Initially, we will present a brief historical overview of the notion of space in modern philosophy, to later relate the reception of the spatial category in the author's aesthetic and political thought: an ontotopology, in Sloterdijk, accompanies the spherological project. And, finally, to diagram a reading vector for a future of philosophy focused, now, on reflecting on the diverse cultural and material modes that allow philosophical thinking in a global world. |
