| Sumario: | The study presented the territorial relationship between the water crisis in the Morelos and the epidemiological profile of COVID-19 in the state. The purpose established as the purpose of the research was to know how the critical situation of water metabolism in Morelos has resulted in a collapse of groundwater resources; this is taken as an objective factor that is related, through the urbanization processes of the entity with the confirmed cases of COVID-19 registered between March 19 and June 11, 2020. The methodology was based on a documentary review, the preparation of a geospatial water balance, the calculation of the prevalence and epidemiological incidence of the COVID-19 in Morelos, and the use of geographic information systems for the cartographic processing of information. The results obtained showed a conceptual theoretical approach to the water crisis and the socio-territorial production of diseases from the critique of political economy and critical Marxist geography. Also, data on the water crisis that is configured in the aquifers of the state of Morelos were presented, as well as the epidemiological profile of COVID-19 in the entity, which allowed us to conclude that the urban and industrial reconfiguration of Morelos is the territorial factor through which the water crisis and the number of cases of contagion of COVID-19 are related.
