The objective of this article is to determine the correspondence between governance and the level of relationship with stakeholders in the micro-accommodation companies of the City of Cuenca.The present study developed an extensive, numerical, descriptive cross-sectional investigation, without control of multivariate variables. To measure the depth of the relationship, it was considered Deming's continuous improvement cycle, as well as Ethos indicators, thus obtaining the research instruments that verify a representative sample of controlled accommodation micro-enterprises in Cuenca and registered in the hotel cadaster of the year 2019. The investigation identified that the indicators required by the context of the law are better accomplished. In addition, there is mutual isolation between companies that weaken before regulatory and promotional entities. The level of governance detected was weak with its internal public, which was externalized in its individualism towards society. |

Del total de establecimientos de alojamiento en la Ciudad de Cuenca, el 96,1% corresponde a micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (Mipymes). El objetivo de este artículo consiste en determinar la correspondencia entre la gobernanza y el nivel de relación con los stakeholders en las microempresas de alojamiento de la Ciudad de Cuenca. El presente estudio desarrolló una investigación descriptiva numérica, extensiva, de corte transversal, sin control de variables de tipo multivariado. Para medir la profundidad en la relación se consideró el ciclo de mejora continua de Deming, así como los indicadores Ethos, obteniéndose así los instrumentos de investigación que se aplican a una muestra representativa de las microempresas de alojamiento existentes en el Cantón Cuenca y registradas en el catastro hotelero del año 2019. La investigación mostró que los indicadores exigibles por el contexto de la ley son mejor atendidos. Además, entre las empresas existe aislamiento mutuo que les debilita ante las entidades reguladoras y de promoción. El nivel de gobernanza detectada fue de debilidad con su público interno, el que se exteriorizó en su individualismo frente a la sociedad.
