Analiza los contextos de producción de estos expedientes, la información que aportan para comprender las agencias indígenas en la justicia y las relaciones forjadas tanto al interior del pueblo de reducción como con los agentes de poder colonial. Problematiza además las implicaciones de investigaciones que se basan en archivos extralocales y en documentación de carácter disperso.
