| Summary: | This article addresses the political framework that led the Communist Left to join the Socialist Party in 1936, ending the organization's brief history. To do so, it observes the origins of this group, as well as the discussions that took place around this political discussion. The working hypothesis is that the Trotskyists would have joined the Socialist Party for two main reasons: to avoid being relegated to no political influence; and the political conditions that, according to the Trotskyists, led to the leadership within that party.
