| Sumario: | Based on the reflection on two experiences of anthropological professional practice in non-academic fields experienced by the authors, the article problematizes some of the complexities and challenges of a theoretical-methodological order that are involved in this task. In this way, based on the ethnographic analysis of different materials provided by the recovered research as well as the corpus of materials generated in the dialogues held between the authors in relation to various axes - such as positioning, commitments, practices -, the objective of the text is to contribute to a discussion little addressed in Argentine disciplinary history. That which questions - and disputes - the recognition and epistemological scope of what they call a "practiced anthropology", characterized by an "impure" disciplinary practice, contradictory, tense and not limited to the academic corset, although no less committed or with its epistemological principles, nor with its time and historical context.
