El artículo examina la trayectoria de Oscar Bidegain, dirigente histórico del peronismo y gobernador de Buenos Aires entre 1973 y 1974, y su relación con Montoneros en los años setenta y la posdictadura. Analiza su participación en espacios vinculados a la Tendencia Revolucionaria del peronismo bajo la influencia de Montoneros. Mediante el cruce entre su biografía y el despliegue de las principales dinámicas histórico-políticas que atravesaron al peronismo en la época, se busca indagar diversos aspectos de la siempre tensa relación entre política y violencia, así como aportar elementos para comprender procesos clave de la historia argentina reciente.
