We analyze Habegger's conceptions of Catholicism before and after the Second Vatican Council and his positions changes about Peronism. Este artículo aborda la trayectoria de Norberto Habegger, fundador de la organización armada Descamisados. Se utilizan documentos de su biografía y del archivo sobre la represión brasileña (de la que fue víctima) para mostrar el itinerario que lo convirtió en político e intelectual del mundo católico en la década de 1960. El trabajo analiza las concepciones de Habegger sobre el catolicismo antes y después del Concilio Vaticano II y sobre el peronismo. Asimismo, se estudian las prácticas políticas que Habegger desarrolló una vez que se integró a Montoneros, elaborando la hipótesis de que los rasgos de la radicalidad de estas políticas se gestaron en la década anterior. Este artigo aborda a trajetória de Norberto Habegger, fundador da organização armada Descamisados. Documentos de sua biografia e do arquivo sobre a repressão brasileira (da qual foi vítima) são utilizados para mostrar o itinerário que o tornou político e intelectual no mundo católico na década de 1960. A obra analisa as concepções de Habegger sobre o catolicismo antes e depois do Concílio Vaticano II e do peronismo. Da mesma forma, são estudadas as práticas políticas que Habegger desenvolveu ao ingressar nos Montoneros, desenvolvendo a hipótese de que as características radicais dessas políticas foram desenvolvidas na década anterior.
