Colostomy carcinomas are relatively rare, with only ten cases reported worldwide. This article describes two cases that we have recently seen and highlights the challenges, such as diagnosis, extent of excision, closure of defects, and siting of further stoma. In both cases, the presentation was to a specialist nurse-led clinic.
