This article describes 3 emergency department staffs' desired future for creating a healthy workplace. Content analysis was used to derive the 7 key components of a healthy emergency department workplace. They are as follows: (1) excellence in patient care, (2) excellence in patient care processes and systems, (3) workable and safe facility environment, (4) interprofessional relationships and collaboration, (5) educational development, (6) teamwork behavioral norms, and (7) effective provider staffing systems.
