| Summary: | Within the early intervention community, serving infants and toddlers with developmental delays is a growing realization that social, emotional, and behavioral issues must be addressed along with developmental problems. How one early intervention program has begun the task of making infant mental health practice an integral part of its service delivery system is the subject of this article. A critical aspect of this process is planning an incremental process that allows service providers to acclimate to a new paradigm as well as accommodate slim budgets.
