Several norm-referenced standardized tests are available to assess visual perceptual and visual motor skills, but few resources summarize the measurement properties of these tools. The purpose of this paper is to provide psychometric reviews of seven norm-referenced standardized tests of visual perception and visual motor integration commonly used by pediatric therapists. Each assessment tool is critically appraised for its purpose, clinical utility, test construction, standardization, reliability and validity.
