| Sumario: | College students with ADHD may have difficulties identifying career goals and moving into employment opportunities. They may be unrealistic in identifying goals that match their abilities. Many difficulties can be traced to executive functioning (EF) deficits. A new measure of EF is the Barkley Deficits in Executive Functioning Scale (BDEFS). The BDEFS can be used to identify areas of impairment and use that knowledge for more effective career counseling with college students. |
