| Sumario: | This study aims to find out the perceptions of elementary school teachers' (grade one to grade five) self efficiency toward application renewed life sciences course curriculum. First, a questionnaire is applied for data collection in two public elementary schools (Onsekiz Mart Elementary School and Anafartalar Elementary School) in the center of Canakkale. Then, interviews were conducted with three teachers (teaching in each grade one, grade two, and grade three) in Onsekiz Mart Elementary School. Finally, observations were conducted in the classrooms of the interviewed teachers. As a result, different data collection methods were employed. By using the questionnaire, teachers have opportunity to explore their ideas and feelings about renewed life sciences curriculum. By doing so, common subjects and themes were to be found. The data gathered through observations and interviews are also analyzed to explain the interview results. As a conclusion of this study, it is possible to say that teachers' self efficiency level toward application of the renewed life science course curriculum is not developed well according to teachers' perceptions. Also it is found that teachers agree with philosophy of the new program but they have some problem with the usage of it. Some teachers believe that they have all theoretical and practical capabilities to use the new program but some other disagrees with this situation.
