| Sumario: | The essay examines the persistence of Sufi motifs in the work of two of the most significant figures in modern Turkish poetry – Orhan Veli and the Communist poet Nâzım Hikmet. Both figures were non-believers whose work, nevertheless, reveals the presence of a certain series of spiritual echoes – notions of inwardness, memory, sadness, epiphany, attentiveness, all of which (I argue) draw, consciously or not, on an already extant store of Sufi motifs. Bu makalede Modern Türk Şiiri’nin en önemli iki figürü olan Orhan Veli ile Komünist şair Nâzım Hikmet’in eserlerinde tasavvufî motiflerin sürekliliği araştırılmaktadır. İnançsız figürler olmalarına karşın, her iki yazarın da eserlerinde içedönüklük, bellek, hüzün, uyanış (epiphany), dikkat gibi ruhanî yansımaları olan kavramlar serisinin var olduğu açığa çıkmaktadır. Bu kavramlar aracılığıyla bilinçli bir biçimde ya da tesadüfen üretilmiş tasavvufî motiflerin şiirlerde çoktan mevcut bir hazine oluşturduğu tartışılmaktadır. |
