Sumario:Introduction: A study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning module on first aid in terms of gain in knowledge among student nurses of selected College of Nursing in Delhi. Method: The research approach selected was quantitative in nature and research design was with one group pre-test post-test design. Sampling was done using non-probability sampling using total enumeration sampling technique. The study was conducted in Rufaida College of Nursing, New Delhi. Sample comprised of 60 pre-licensure nurses studying in final year of course. The tools used for generating necessary data were e-learning module and structured knowledge questionnaire on first aid. Results: Sample characteristics revealed that majority of samples (60%) were studying in B. Sc. (N) course. All the subjects had experience in handling computer/ smart phone. Only 5% subjects had previous experience of e-learning module. The relevant findings of study were mean post-test knowledge score was significantly higher than mean pre- test knowledge score, with maximum gain in area of general first aid. There was significant relationship between knowledge gain and course of study and academic performance in previous class. Conclusion: The finding of study revealed that e-learning module was effective in enhancing the knowledge of the study subjects.
