Sumario:A new look for reference publisher Collins was unveiled this week at HarperCollins' sales conference in London, England, following a comprehensive redesign by Mark Thomson, the publisher's art director. The look--which includes a new logo, typography and page design--will be on display on Collins titles from the autumn. The initiative has come following the arrival of Collins managing director Thomas Webster, who joined the publisher three years ago from Oxford University Press. The purpose of the rebranding was not just to refresh the look of Collins, Webster says, but to assist the company on a deeper level in defining its identity and long-term strategy in the market.
