Evidence from research studies supports students' ability to learn critical thinking, clinical decision making, and psychomotor skills, and to acquire the affective behavior of caring, during highfidelity simulation-based learning experiences. A qualitative descriptive design, using a phenomenological methodology, was used to guide this research study.
