| Sumario: | The global wave of cannabis legalization presents a challenge to health professions and health profession educational institutions. While the state of science around cannabis and its use is poor at baseline, changes in the legal and regulatory environment are resulting in rapid changes in the drug, its delivery, and the clinical consequences of its use. Effective institutional responses to this rapidly evolving reality will need to be swift and interprofessional. This article discusses the critical institutional and curricular considerations that academic medical centers and other institutions that teach and train health professions will need to address as they plan their response to cannabis. |
