Sumario:The purpose of this study is to determine the problems students who are in 6th, 7th and 8th face during the learning process in English and to reveal solution suggestions to these problems. In this research, information was collected through the open-ended interview forms developed by the researcher. The research was carried out with the participation of 390 students in 6th, 7th and 8th classes in Bucak district center of Burdur province in 2013-2014 academic year. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 package program. According to findings found as a result of analysis, it was determined that the students faced problems under themes of teacher, student, program, environment, class, school and books and suggestions were presented for solutions to these problems.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim 6, 7 ve 8. sınıflarda İngilizce öğrenme sürecinde öğrencilerin karşılaştıkları sorunların belirlenmesi ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Araştırmada, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu görüşme formları yoluyla veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma, 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılında Burdur ili Bucak ilçe merkezindeki 6, 7 ve 8. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 390 öğrencinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler SPSS paket programından yararlanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucu elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öğrencilerin; öğretmen, öğrenci, program, çevre, sınıf ve okul, kitaplar temaları altında sorunlarla karşılaştıkları tespit edilmiş ve bu sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri ortaya konulmuştur.
