| Sumario: | Our way of doing science and history is full of cultural biases, among which the androcentric bias, so present in our society, stands out. Sometimes, these ways of writing go unnoticed, but they are especially visible when dealing with the figure of historical women and, even more so, when we know little about their lives. Thus, the figure of the medical Trota de Ruggiero, is especially interesting to analyze how we conceive the history of women in science. Nuestra manera de hacer ciencia e historia está llena de sesgos culturales, entre los que destaca el sesgo androcéntrico, tan presente en nuestra sociedad. A veces, estos modos de escribir pasan desapercibidos, pero son especialmente visibles cuando se trata la figura de mujeres históricas y, más aún, cuando conocemos poco de sus vidas. Así, la figura de la médica Trota de Ruggiero, resulta especialmente interesante para analizar cómo concebimos la historia de la mujer en la ciencia. |
