Thus, the figure of the medical Trota de Ruggiero, is especially interesting to analyze how we conceive the history of women in science. Nuestra manera de hacer ciencia e historia está llena de sesgos culturales, entre los que destaca el sesgo androcéntrico, tan presente en nuestra sociedad. A veces, estos modos de escribir pasan desapercibidos, pero son especialmente visibles cuando se trata la figura de mujeres históricas y, más aún, cuando conocemos poco de sus vidas.
