Sumario:The paper is an empirical study of Kolb's learning cycle in the context of English as a Second Language (ESL) learning and teaching through the theory of experiential learning. The main purpose of experiential foreign language education is to create a true, authentic connection of the learners with the content to be learned, with the world, and with each other by using a foreign language. This study was conducted to determine the effect of learning cycle to implement experiential learning on the enhancement of language skills and changes in behavior and attitude. The study was based on quantitative and qualitative methods. A total of fifty students from various engineering branches participated in this research. They were selected randomly from two sections to conduct a pretest. Participants were divided equally into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received training through experiential learning, and the control group was taught through the usual lecture method. Posttest was executed to measure the improvement in language skills. The independent sample t-test was used to test the significance of difference between the mean scores of groups at 0.05 level. The findings of the study showed that experiential learning was an effective way to improve engineering students' language skills.
