In Turkish universities quality development applications and student surveys have gained prevalence, as well. Yet, the inadequacy of valid and reliable measurement tools as well as the theoretical problems related to the measurement of service quality negatively affects the effectiveness and sustainability of these practices. The aim of this study is to analyze the validity and reliability of Turkish version of HESQUAL (Higher Education Service Quality Scale) for developing a service quality measurement tool that could be used by Turkish universities. HESQUAL scale was developed by Teeroovengadum, Kamalanabhan ve Seebaluck in 2016 for measuring higher education service quality. The Likert type scale is composed of 48 items and 5 subscales. In this study, HESQUAL scale was translated into Turkish and turned into a survey form. Likert type items of the original scale was used with no changes. The study group consisted of 400 freshmen students who study at Suleyman Demirel University in the year 2018. Explanatory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis have been used for testing structure validity of the scale. Findings of the Explanatory Factor Analysis revealed that the scale had the same five-factored structure consisting of 48 items as the original one. Internal consistency coefficient for the scale was calculated as .94. Thus the Turkish version of the HESQUAL scale was found as reliable and valid measurement tool. Günümüzde üniversiteler geleneksel rollerinin dışında birer hizmet sunucusu olarak değerlendirilmekte, öğrenci odaklı kalite yaklaşımı doğrultusunda hizmet kalitesi ölçüm ve geliştirme çalışmaları yoğunlaşmaktadır. Türkiye'deki üniversitelerde de hizmet kalitesi çalışmaları ve öğrencilere yönelik anket uygulamaları yaygınlık kazanmaktadır. Ancak, hizmet kalitesinin ölçümüne ilişkin kuramsal sorunların yanı sıra geçerli ve güvenilir ölçüm araçlarının yetersizliği de bu uygulamaların etkinliğini ve sürdürülebilirliğini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı HESQUAL (Yükseköğretim Hizmet Kalitesi) ölçeğinin Türkçe uyarlamasının geçerlilik ve güvenirlik analizinin yapılarak Türkiye'deki yükseköğretim kurumları tarafından kullanılabilecek bir hizmet kalitesi ölçüm aracının oluşturulmasıdır. Ölçek 2016 yılında Teeroovengadum, Kamalanabhan ve Seebalucktarafından yükseköğretim kurumlarında hizmet kalitesinin öğrenci odaklı ölçümü amacıyla geliştirilmiştir. Beş boyuttan ve 48 maddeden oluşan 5'li Likert tipi ölçekte öğrencilerin üniversitelerde sunulan hizmetlerle ilgili görüşleri değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışmada HESQUAL ölçeğinin Türkçeye çevrilen formu kullanılmıştır ve soru formunda orijinal ölçeğin madde sayısına ve derecelendirme formatına sadık kalınmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim gören 400 üniversite öğrencisinden oluşmuştur. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğini test etmek amacıyla Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi ve ardından Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi yapılmıştır. Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi'nde tespit edilen 48 madde ve beş faktörün orijinal ölçekte yer alan boyutlara ve kuramsal yapıya paralel olduğu görülmektedir.
