Sumario:This article discusses the recently launched curriculum for nursing associates and the authors' involvement in the development of a medicine management module. Curriculum development therefore required consideration of the concerns of service users and providers regarding the integration of this new, poorly understood role, its potential effect on skill mix and lack of knowledge regarding proposed regulation.
