Sumario:This article presents brief introductions of various contributing authors of July 2004 issue of the "Journal of General Studies." It reports that Sharyn Graham is a lecturer in the School of Social Science at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. Her recently submitted PhD dissertation, entitled "Hunters, wedding mothers, and androgynous priests: conceptualising gender among Bugis in South Sulawesi, Indonesia," was undertaken at the University of Western Australia. Barbara Heron is an assistant professor in the School of Social Work at the York University, Toronto, Canada. Amy Kaler is an assistant professor in the department of sociology at the University of Alberta. Her research interests are in the area of gender, reproductive health and social change in southern Africa.
