Laying out work previously done on both immortality and digital worlds, the paper shows how digital immortality can overcome Bernard Williams' boredom objection and disjointed-self objection to immortality by subscribing to H. P. Grice's theory of personal identity. Subsequently, the paper explores two issues: who will inhabit the virtual world and the problem of avatar creation.
