En este artículo se presenta la traducción de un pequeño tratado catequético de Jan van Ruusbroec, que recoge y sintetiza los fundamentos doctrinales desarrollados en el resto de su obra, en su mayoría acerca de la vida ascética y mística en el s. XIV.
