Severidad de apiñamiento dental en maloclusiones.
Objective: To determine if there are differences in the severity of the crowding of the three malocclusions. Materials and methods: The sample was for convenience of 40 models with class I malocclusion, 40 with class II malocclusion and 40 with class III malocclusion; total sample 120 study models....

Materials and methods: The sample was for convenience of 40 models with class I malocclusion, 40 with class II malocclusion and 40 with class III malocclusion; total sample 120 study models. Statistics were performed in the StatCalc program version 8.1.3., the results were compared using a Student's t-test. Results: In class I malocclusion the crowding was mild; with class II malocclusion the crowding was moderate, and in class III malocclusion the crowding was moderate in the maxilla and mild in the mandible. Conclusions: Significant statistical differences were found in the maxilla between class I malocclusion and class II and class III malocclusions. No statistical differences were found between class II malocclusion with class III malocclusion. There were differences in the mandible between class I malocclusion and class II malocclusion, and between class II malocclusion and class III malocclusion. Hubo diferencias en la mandíbula entre la maloclusión clase I con maloclusión clase II y la maloclusión clase II con maloclusión clase III. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y custom: Copyright of Revista Española de Ortodoncia is the property of Publicidad Permanyer SLU and its content may not be copied or emailed to multiple sites without the copyright holder's express written permission.
