Especially in academic courses such as reading and writing, mathematics and science in order to teach the attained goals of the curriculum, teachers need to have the necessary qualifications such as individualizing and adopting teaching for inclusive students. The aim of this research is to examine the opinions and suggestions of the classroom teachers working in the primary school level about teaching science. The mixed method was used to collect the data. A questionnaire was prepared to get the opinions and suggestions of teachers about teaching science for the students in inclusive education. The questionnaire was filled by 114 classroom teachers and 17 teachers were chosen for the interviews. The data obtained from the questionnaire and interviews were analyzed. This research was carried out with the permission of ethical committee (the approval number for the research is E.117614 and the date is 24.09.2019). The findings obtained from the research reveal that classroom teachers working in inclusive classes don’t use necessary adaptations for planning, teaching and evaluating science; they don’t use effective teaching methods and techniques and they need in-service training about how to educate inclusive students. Etkili kaynaştırma uygulamalarının gerçekleştirilebilmesi için öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma öğrencilerini kabul edici olumlu tutumlara sahip olmaları ve bunlara ek olarak öğretmenlerin özel eğitim gerektiren öğrencileri için etkili öğretim yöntemleri ile sosyal ve akademik becerileri kazandırmaları gerekmektedir. Özellikle okuma-yazma, matematik ve fen bilimleri gibi akademik derslerde müfredatta belirlenen amaçları öğrencilere kazandırabilmek için öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma öğrencilerinin eğitimine yönelik öğretimi bireyselleştirme ve uyarlama becerilerine sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul düzeyindeki kaynaştırma sınıflarında çalışan sınıf öğretmenlerinin fen bilimleri dersinin öğretimine ilişkin görüşlerini ve önerilerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın verilerini toplamak amacıyla karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma öğrencilerine fen bilimleri dersinin öğretimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek için anket uygulanmış ve buna paralel olarak görüşme formu geliştirilmiştir. Bu anket 114 sınıf öğretmenine uygulandıktan sonra içlerinden 17 öğretmen belirlenerek görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Anket ve görüşmeden elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Bu araştırma 24.09.2019 tarih ve E.117614 numaralı etik kurul izni ile yapılmıştır.
