Sumario:Since technology acceptance models were introduced in 1986, they continue to be the most widely applied theoretical models in many areas of research, commercial industry, and technological advancement research. Many efforts examined these models' validation, extension, and limitations. This research attempts to trace the history, investigate the findings, and cautiously accumulate the main features and future trajectory of these models. This study also attempts to examine mobile learning (m-learning) and the prevailing m-learning models and frameworks in the context of using them as learning tools. The discussion will proceed to describe the m-learning tool and its evolution in the academic system, as well as how it differs from other learning paradigms. Finally, this research will conclude by selecting studies which use the integrated technology acceptance model and its variables related to human and social change processes and to the adoption of m-learning technologies.
