Participants were 15 men and 21 women, aged between 60 and 80 years. They were divided into three groups: (1) verbal prescriptive KP, received verbal information on how to correct errors on the next trial; (2) video descriptive KP, watched the replay of their strokes; and (3) prescriptive and descriptive KP. Participants learned the golf putting motor skill by performing 120 trials during an acquisition phase. Participants also performed retention (immediate delayed) and transfer as learning tests. The dependent variables included measures related to the task goal (absolute and variable errors) and the kinematics of movement pattern. Results showed that the prescriptive plus video KP and prescriptive KP groups had absolute and variable errors smaller than video group.
