Sumario:Taking a starting point Boaventura and Dionísio Areopagita this text addresses and discusses the question of the possibility of naming the divine. How to give a name to what is innaprehensible and nameless, which is above, below and beyond every name? What and who is the possibility to give any name? Boaventura would reply which takes place through negation, also means an express way for language to positively apprehend what the divine Being is for us: it is not possible to total God in thought, but it is possible to fully apprehend his existence through language. Based on numerous citations from Areopagita, that text concluded that incomprehensibility does not affect knowledge, since it does not make God alien to thought, being possible to positively say Deus sicut est. Going from the side of the essence (beyond which God is always), the negative predication sees in the name the dissolution of the Ineffable, so that the negations would be more true than the affirmations.
