Interprofessional learning within an academic setting can improve multidisciplinary working within clinical practice. This article aims to demonstrate that Interprofessional learning can be successfully introduced into a non-medical prescribing module which has the potential to improve clinical practice. The authors outline the professional academic experiences of prescribers and make future recommendations. Discussion points included: interprofessional learning within an academic setting can improve multidisciplinary working within clinical practice, why multidisciplinary working is important to prescribing practice, how the benefit of Interprofessional within a non-medical prescribing module has not previously been explored, how Interprofessional can be introduced into a non-medical prescribing module and how benefits could be wide ranging.
