Strengths in Macau include comprehensive network infrastructure, high usage rate of internet, basic foundation for smart medical care, and a wide coverage of community nursing care. Weaknesses include the intelligence not enough, lack of specialized nurses and outcome evaluation, and controversial charges. Opportunities are supportive, including governmental investment and regulations, involvement of Peking Union Hospital, for in-depth cooperation between Macau and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Threats of imbalance between intelligence and privacy protection and the establishment of nursing homes should be considered. The development of "Internet +" nursing in Macau has a solid foundation.
