| Sumario: | Based on the EAI, participants were grouped according to risk of exercise addiction as "low" (HC, I n i = 111, 88.8%; ADHD-M, I n i = 62, 88.6%; ADHD-U, I n i = 38, 90.5%) and "high" risk (HC, I n i = 14, 11.2%; ADHD-M, I n i = 8, 11.4%; ADHD-U, I n i = 4, 9.5%). Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects around 5% of children and adults worldwide (Polanczyk et al., [37]; Simon et al., [44]) and is characterised by inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity (American Psychiatric Association, [2]). Results Sample Characteristics Participants were divided into three groups (Table 1): healthy controls (HC, I n i = 125), ADHD/medicated (ADHD-M, I n i = 70) and ADHD/unmedicated (ADHD-U, I n i = 42).
