| Sumario: | Progreso emerged as a port for Yucatán in the second half of the 19th century. Throughout its existence, the infrastructure and equipment elements that were necessary for maritime and railway transport were built, which over time became heritage but have not survived in all cases to this day. This article will present the emergence and evolution of the built heritage of the maritime and railway transport systems of the port of Progreso during Economic Liberalism and Keynesianism, the transformation and survival that they have had during Neoliberalism, and an evaluation of the state of conservation of this. |
