| Sumario: | The problem of formation and dissemination of disinformation, which acquires special importance during the full-scale war of russia against Ukraine, is investigated. It is indicated that disinformation is a great challenge for the entire human community. An understanding of the types of disinformation, algorithms for state and individual countermeasures against disinformation are formulated. Directions for developing a strategy to combat disinformation and the experience of democratic countries, which can be useful for Ukraine, are indicated. Attention is drawn to the expediency and necessity of forming the psychological stability of the population. We emphasize that media literacy is the only effective means of countering disinformation, but we note that in Ukraine, only educational campaigns may not be enough given the larger scale and risks, in the conditions of a full-scale war
