| Sumario: | Systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that, although predominantly seen in young adults and more frequently in women, can occur at any stage of life. The disease presents with various symptoms, and organ involvement is common. One of the most frequently observed organ involvements is lupus nephritis. Therefore, nurses must comprehensively assess patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and implement appropriate nursing interventions for identified issues. In this study, the health data of our 32-year-old female patient were collected based on Gordon's Functional Health Patterns model. A nursing care plan was developed according to the nursing diagnoses of NANDA I Taxonomy II and the Nursing Intervention Classification (NIC) for the identified problems. |
