Sumario:	This article explores the origins and evolution of HYPE Media, a youth-led media program grounded in Black feminist pedagogy, community listening, and intellectual humility. Through conceptual analysis, reflective narrative, and practical application, the authors examine how co-creation, vulnerability, and dialogic engagement shape ethical community-based research. By centering Black girls’ voices, the work offers a model for transformative programming that challenges institutional norms and reimagines education as a practice of care, presence, and liberation.
