Sumario:This scoping review aimed to identify qualitative research focused on online psychoeducational, counseling, and therapy groups published between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2024, analyze publication trends, and characterize the research and studied groups. The review team utilized the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) checklist and searched the PsycINFO, Google Scholar, Academic Search Complete, and Educator's Reference Complete databases. Study selection used preset inclusion criteria, yielding 18 included studies. The review team charted data on a review question-based matrix, which revealed trends and gaps in publication, study design, and group characteristics. Implications for future review and research are provided.
